How to Order
Please contact me in the first instance to discuss your requirements. Commissions are undertaken on a first-come, first served basis and a 25% deposit non-refundable will secure your order. I only work on one portrait at a time so please allow plenty of time if you are ordering as a gift for a special occasion. The lead up to Christmas can be particularly busy so please place your orders as early as possible.
All the portraits are drawn from photographs. To capture the best likeness, the photograph needs to reflect the character of the subject so please choose one which you think gives a good representation of your pet. Additional photographs taken from different angles are always welcome as they can provide valuable reference material. Please also point out any special markings peculiar to your pet – a patch of white hair which may appear to be a mark on the photo could be an important characteristic.
High resolution digital images are best as I can zoom in on detail but I may also be able to work from a good-sized, clear print which will be returned to you.
If you are unable to provide a suitable image, I may be able to meet with you and take some photographs myself. If this is the case, please contact me to discuss. Depending on the distance involved, there may be a charge for this service.
PLEASE NOTE: All drawings are copyright of the artist and may be used for marketing purposes and displayed on my website or facebook page, although no personal information will be given unless agreed with the client. If you have any objection to having your images displayed in this way, please let me know and they will not be used.
